Refs in the NFL?

    • They do a good job given that they are part time and not full time refs

The refs, for the most part, do an outstanding job. Biggest problem is when there is an obvious bad call made.

Their status as part time really has no bearing on the job they do.

This. Given how much happens on a given football play, and how fast everything happens, the refs are generally doing a great job. The NHL is probably the only league to have better refs, but there is FAR less to keep track of as a ref in ice hockey. Compare this to the NBA or MLB.
