That made no sense and the play call was terrible. Belichick got raked over the coals for going for it on 4th down a few years ago when the Pats were up and the defense was terrible. I've seen him get trashed for it by a few analysts, but fair or not, the truth is the Falcons aren't enough of a headline-making team for them to bother spending too much time on it. I completely agree that the decision was beyond moronic and actually worse than Belichick's decision (which was definitely stupid) considering in that game at least it wasn't OT and a FG wouldn't have won it for the Colts.
