NY Jets Make Roster Moves Release Two Players

According to New York Daily New’s Seth Walder the NY Jets announced that they have released both Tight End Mike Shanahan and Wide Receiver  Titus Ryan today.

Both players were given opportunities to make a roster spot, but the organization felt they needed to move on. The Jets continue to look for players this off season to add depth and talent to certain key positions on team.

Until the first cut down, which I think is Monday, maybe tuesday

 

If even remotely healthy, Braylon probably sticks around until final cutdowns and gets a lot of play against the Eagles, in attempt to help keep him ready in case they need to come calling some point this season.  If they really are concerned about his health then he probably does get sent packing in the first cuts.
