Just shows that he was in a great situation with the Jets - that is, they knew how to take advantage of his skill set, and not every team is built the same way, and he had no role there. The same thing might be happening on a lesser scale with Revis, In any case, Smith was one of my favorite players; remember him killing the Bengals out of the wildcat and getting us to the playoff, remember him running back kicks for TD's without his shoe.... but as mentioned, Cribbs stole his role, and his number as well.
