It's far from certain. Well since Idzik has only been here for less than one calendar year and entered a fairly cash-strapped team, it's pretty hard to pontificate over what he will or won't do based on this past season. Howard wants starting tackle money and since he's been a starter for two full season, I would have to imagine his demands are fairly valid. Unless Idzik expects one of Iljana, Oday or a draft pick to improve over Howard, I have to imagine he's not going to create a hole by not signing him. It's possible it happens though if Howard's demands are too high. It'll be interesting to see how Idzik handles his contract and sets a precedent for how he values offensive lineman's salary in the new NFL.
