The Jets organization kept him on the roster and continued to start him game after game even when he failed. The Jets organization failed to release him at the start of free agency to free up cap money to be spent on free agents. Wow. Sanchez played no part in this? He signed an undeserved extension. Hostage, lol. They've paid the bum over $40M. There was never going to be a trade. He got paid 40M, yes. What does that say about the management? There was never going to be a trade for Schaub either. There was never going to be a trade for Favre. There were two reasons to hold onto him: 1. Maybe someone will make an offer, however unlikely. 2. Affects negotiations with Vick. The conversation is different with Sanchez & without him. If people are feeling so righteous about Sanchez, then why didn't he exempt the Jets from the guaranteed portion of his contract when he knew he was no longer the team's future?
