jetscrazey Posted January 6, 2016 Share Posted January 6, 2016 Francesa was quite positive on Bowles and the direction of the team in general. Not the usual vitriol of prior regimes. Bowles basically said the reason the zone coverage looked so soft is because underneath guys didn't drop back enough. They were too concerned with the run apparently. I think if the Jets do get younger and faster at LB they'll be able to play man coverage against QBs like Tyrod Taylor more often and will be the dominant D they tried to be this year.
