Panthers cut CB Brandon Boykin, was thought to be starter at nickel this season in secondary

This is the more ideal position to be looking at during pre-June 1st cut downs.  I haven't followed him the last year or 2, would he provide depth help or possible upside starter if Skrine can win the outside position?

Gettleman is such a maverick.

Got to be something there...the Panthers dont exactly have a ton of depth CB.

Although I think you are right about Boykin, if I remember correctly wasn't the Panthers  like his 4th team in 2 years or something?  And signed with Panthers last year for vet minimum?  Maybe he is a locker room cancer.
