One because when full grown and powerful they can hurt themselves whacking it into something. Two because most people have them around small children and don't want the kids getting accidentally whacked in the face.

TBJ
He's not scared of thunder and lightning either. He just ran out in the rain to make sure a truck going by kept on moving. 😂 He's a good guard dog.

TBJ
Rempe was throwing his weight around tonight. He was way too much dog for that Boxer. I had to calm him down, he settled in when the other dogs got there. That English Shepard caught frisbee like a pro. The other day he was in with 4 German Shepherds and a Golden Retriever. TBJ
He's getting ripped! He hits about 20-25 mph when he chases cars along the fence of that park, and it's at least a football field's length.

JiFtheOracle
Good stuff @TBJ Love every ******* minute of it. Dogs are gifts. I had to bury both my Dobermans within 6 months of each other this year. Been very very hard to say the least. Both sudden and way before their time. Minzi (black) - had heart failure at 3 years old, just before her 4th bday. Jackson (Red) - had joint infection that got into his blood stream and it took him down quick, he was turning 7 both very tragic and I still find myself breaking down when I start missing them.

OilfieldJet
Great looking animal and pretty property. It looks like you live somewhere rural. I’m surprised that security is a concern - I feel safer in the country.

Unfortunately there are knuckle heads every where, plus there are coyotes, bears, bobcats etc in the country.

Don’t let him near a wild animal, but we also love our pups. Coyotes and pigs are only real issues.

Yeah, just having a dog's sent/presence keeps most predators away.
