bman
how about: Trade down from 4 to 7 picking up the raiders 3 and 4th rd picks... Select Brick or Davis... THEN trade the #35 and the raiders 3rd to move up and land Manny Lawson at around 20... 29 select Maroney Davis Lawson Maroney 3rd rd OT and QB with the comp pick. lawngnome o-line
I like it, but change a few things 7. Pick in this order, Brick, Williams, Hawk, Ngata, Davis BPA out of these 5 To grab lawson you would have to part with the 29 not the 35 to move up, since his stock is shooting up the chart. The Jets 29 (640 pts.) + Raiders 71 (235) = #19 pick The Jets 35(550 pts. ) + Raiders 71 (235) = #22 pick The problem with this is Lawson is expected to go to the Cowboys @ 18. If he doesn't, and SD is willing for the trade at 19, then great. If not and he's still availiable at 22, the 49ers would be very willing to gain more draft picks and you could trade there. Based on which pick, the 29 or 35, that will decide which player you take next. I do not like Maroney, but I love Lendale. If you give up your 35, you take him at 29. If you give up your 29, you get him as a steal at 35. If he is not there there are a few options left. Take Eric Winston, Tamba Hali, or Davin Joseph. Build up one of the lines. Even taking Mangold wouldn't be bad, even with Teague at Center. Personally this is what I want to happen. 7. Brick (most likely Ngata) 22. Lawson 29. Lendale If not then 7. Brick 22. Lawson 35 Winston, Mangold, or Joseph
gsnts725
i think Lawson will be there @ #29, so there's no point of trading up for him.
