rick34125 Posted August 21, 2007 Share Posted August 21, 2007 here's my unprofessional opinion... of course the most important ingredient for a successful blog is regular updates. try to give your visitors something they can't get anywhere else, whether it's just your opinion or a one stop collection of other information or opinions. the first few lines of an entry are the most important. less is more. keep entries on the front page short with a jump to read the rest of the entry if the visitor wants the easiest type to read is black font on white background. font size should not be either too big or too small. check a popular blog for a good size. pictures are always good as well as embedded video clips like from youtube, etc. linking to other bloggers will help increase traffic to your blog. that's what came to mind. hope it helps.... good luck Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
