Safety Eugene Wilson and linebacker Eric Alexander were downgraded on the Patriots' injury report Saturday. Both players are now listed as out for Sunday's game at Indianapolis. Additionally, the Patriots have signed DB Ray Ventrone to their active roster from their practice squad. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Ventrone was signed to the Patriots practice squad on Sept. 19. Ventrone will wear number 41 for New England. Ventrone, 24, was originally signed by the Patriots as an undrafted free agent on April 28, 2005.
