Even Years Serve The Jets Well

Many New York Jets fans are wondering what they can expect from the 2008 season. If the last ten years have taught Jets fans anything, it is that an even year can

Brett Favre just ruined the Packers front office July 4th holiday.

The gun slinging QB now wants to do the very thing that just about everyone that knows anything about football knew all along - he never wanted to walk away. 1994: The Jets look really good, but then lose a mid-season game to Miami in part thanks to a fake spike by Dan Marino. My Uncle just laughed after that game and warned me what I had got myself into by being a Jets fan. I was still young and confused and didn

Adam Schefter of NFL Network lays out the procedure that quarterback Brett Favre would follow if/when he decides to play football again.

Favre currently is on the reserve/retired list. To be activated from it, Favre only has to send written notice to the Packers and to the league of his desire to play. The Packers would then have 24 hours to reinstate Favre, or to release him.

The other possibility would be to activate Favre and then attempt to trade him, if the Packers don
