Play great defense Run the Football The Jets kept Moss is check, they kept Welker pretty much under control. The Jets lost this game because New England was able to take control of the game in the second half running the ball with Jordan. Even the Jets knew. They have first and goal from the 3 and Mangini was looking not only to grab the lead but to show New England that they can push the ball down their throats. New England killed them on all three Thomas Jones runs. Jets get field goal more importantly though, New England grabbed control of the line and basically the game. It doesn't matter if you are Brady, Manning, Favre, or Tavaris Jackson. If you can't run the football and control the line you are not winning a championship That is what championship teams do.
