At least he has the cajones to step in front of the media and take the heat, rather than deflecting it on the players, which is what Randolph did. Absolutely, Jerry seems to be very comfortable with himself. Willie was never comfortable, he was paranoid and felt like everyone was out to get him; the media, management; even the fans. He had to go. I think Manuel will do a good job, given the full year. He seems to be very upfront with the player and they seem to genuinely like him.
