grew up in a tough neighborhood. in a matter of 4 months his mom was shot and killed and his dad died of cancer. they moved to maryland his grandfather made him play football but he QUIT at age 13. his grandfather then made him play at 14 and if he didnt play he would be punished for life in his words. he sucked his first year, then at 15 he started hitting the gym and his career took off.

Nice story. Good to see Dockett and the Cardinals players in general getting some love...but you'd swear Karlos Dansby doesn't play for them.

I bet we get a Dansby article this week...and he'll be rumored to both the Jets and the Giants.
