Jetkid94 Posted January 28, 2009 Share Posted January 28, 2009 grew up in a tough neighborhood. in a matter of 4 months his mom was shot and killed and his dad died of cancer. they moved to maryland his grandfather made him play football but he QUIT at age 13. his grandfather then made him play at 14 and if he didnt play he would be punished for life in his words. he sucked his first year, then at 15 he started hitting the gym and his career took off. its amazing how these guys can overcome this stuff. he shared his story on media day. Good to see Dockett and the Cardinals players in general getting some love...but you'd swear Karlos Dansby doesn't play for them.
