ANDY is the winningest pitcher in MLB post season history

So in your mind, base on their regular season numbers:

Phil Niekro >>> Sandy Koufax

Joe Niekro >>> Pedro Martinez

Gotcha.

I thought we were talking about "most" post season wins, duh!

Amuse me, what did you think "Back to Andy" meant?

OK, so do you think Andy Pettitte is a better postseason pitcher than John Smoltz, because he has one more victory in his career?

How about Schilling and his 11 wins versus Andy's 16?

Who said anything about being better?

Again, I'd rather have more post season wins than less, but have fun splitting hairs with their winning percentages.

I guess your logic comes with rooting for teams that win twice in a life time.

Tell me who has more rings? Smoltz, Schilling or Pettitte? :rl:

I'd take more rings and a little less of a winning percentage any day!

I'm glad to see my thread went 4 pages deep.

Why didn't anyone post Christy Mathewson's playoff stats???? He's better than Curt Schilling, John Smoltz, Sandy Koufax or anyone else mentioned here.

It went this far cuz we have a bitter Yankee hater in here who does not have the ability to acknowledge that Andy Pettitte has been a very good pitcher in the playoffs and deserves congratulations for becoming the winningest pitcher in playoff history. Must be eating him alive just to hear that fact.
