It's the players? Then why wasn't this a problem last year? Which pass rusher did we lose? Marques Douglas? Harold Green? Same players, add Jason Taylor and Trevor Pryce. How are the players the problem?

Ellis played well last year, is a year older and slower and has been invisible lately. Calvin Pace - is he still on the team? Jason Taylor has made 2 plays all year. Bryan Thomas? Please. The rush defense has been good as usual, but the pass rush is mediocre. This team needs to get a lot younger and faster on the DL. Last year, the pressure covered up a lot of the blemishes in the secondary, this year it's just not happening.

You may not have noticed, but the jets have given up about 40 points 2 of the last 3 weeks, have no pass rush, cannot stop other teams when they need to, and inexplicably rush 3 pass rushes against 6 linemen and get picked apart late in games.

The league has seen Ryan's schemes since he was the D coordinator in Baltimore and people afre starting to catch on now? It's not the scheme, it's the players. When you can't get consistent pressure on the QB in your base defense, you will never succeed. This team does not have one legitimate pass rusher that can demand a double team. Get a guy like that and the blitzes become a lot more effective,

I find it comical to think that NFL offense just this year caught up to the over load blitz

the jets players just can't gt there in time or cover it on the bcak end

the infuriating part of it all is even with average to modest production out of gholston and wilson and it's a different defense
