Facts;

Every Jets Season ticketholder gets a shot in lottery

Coaches Club automatically gets tickets

Each account is only entitled to two tickets (2-20 tickets in one name), you still can only get two tickets, but you have a higher chance of winning

The AFC Champion gets 17.5% of tickets.

The Cowboys stadium is the largest stadium can hold up to 100K, so at best Jets will get 17,500 seats.

Not all 17,500 seats go to fans, players, cronies, staff, VIPs will get seats

Only people who put in for play-off tickets are eligible to be in lottery.

There are 2k Coaches Club tickets so only 15,500 seats available for rest of us.

Fiction

Who knows how they will run lottery, some say it may be weighted. For example

1 ticket UD EZ, 2 ticket UD Sideline, 3 ticket, UD Prime, 4 ticket 2.5K PSL, 5 ticket 6k PSL, 6 ticket 7.5k PSL, etc. etc.

Who knows how many individual season ticket holders there actually are and how many of them actually put in for play-off tickets. That is the lottery pool.

Who knows if Jets in one last ditch effort to sell PSLs will throw 2011 PSL purchasers into lottery.

Now lets win Sunday and come Monday lets all pray our lottery balls land the right way and off we go to the superbowl.

As you see below, lots of people want Superbowl tickets but not many seats.

The majority of Super Bowl tickets—about 75%—are distributed to the NFL teams with each of the participating teams splitting approximately 35% of all Super Bowl tickets. All teams not playing in the Super Bowl will receive just over 1%, and the team hosting the Super Bowl receives about 9% of the Super Bowl tickets. The remaining 25% of SuperBowl tickets are controlled by the NFL and are distributed primarily to NFL affiliated companies, the network broadcasting the Super Bowl, corporate sponsors, media, VIPs, charities, fans and the Host Committee to package with sponsorships. Additionally, he NFL distributes approximately 500 pairs of tickets to fans who won their super bowl lottery

i think any Jets fan inquiring about Super Bowl tickets or the lottery or anything about Dallas is a super jinx move. Stop it.

I un jinx my jinx lets talk Monday, btw Bears already had lottery

A lucky few Bears season ticket holders found out Thursday that they’re going to Super Bowl XLV — if they’re willing to part with at least $800 a seat and the Bears beat the Packers Sunday to take the NFC title.

Randomly selected ticket owners were given the option of buying a maximum of two Super Bowl seats each.

The exact number of tickets being offered wasn’t available, but selected fans will have their choice of $800 or $900 tickets depending on the view.

The notification process may take a few days and fans will be able to pick up their tickets next week, Bears spokesman Scott Hagel said.

Tickets that selected fans decline to buy will be offered to other season ticket holders.

The game will be played Feb. 6 at Cowboys Stadium in Arlintgon, Texas.
