LWC611
While that was nice and all, they need to resolve this mess so the players can get to back work.
flgreen
Pouha's new lockout reality show May, 31, 2011 May 31 11:39 PM ET By Rich Cimini Sione Pouha has hatched a clever project, a quasi-reality series entitled, "Life of a Lock Out." The Jets' charismatic nose tackle is the star of the show, a video blog that illustrates what it's like for a typical NFL player during the lockout. Pouha picked up a video camera, hired a crew and produced his first video, which can be viewed for free on his own You Tube channel. Hey, a player has to do something to keep himself busy during the work stoppage, right? "I would call it a low-budget reality series," Pouha told the Associated Press. "It's not quite 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians.' It's the non-football life of a football player and what they do during the lockout." There's some pretty cool stuff in the first video -- Pouha working out in the gym, bumping into teammate Nick Mangold, hanging in Times Square with some Jets fans, interacting with his family, etc. There will be more behind-the-scenes stuff in future episodes, like a visit to his father's grave. In a touching tribute to his father, Pouha stopped cutting his hair, a poignant story that was featured last fall on ESPNNewYork.com. Not many players could pull off something like this, but Pouha has the personality -- and the interesting background -- to make this work. He has a lot of ideas that he'd like to get on tape and show to his fans. Here's hoping that some time soon, he's filming players going back to work.
