Bugg
Yet another columnist gushing over the greatness of Fergy- http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/trainingcamp05/columns/story?columnist=clayton_john&id=2135506 He was a solid player; he benefitted from playing next to Robertson; but he also didn't keep in shape, has been injured and had a drug suspension. And above all, I've watched every game the guy ever played. He is a decent runstopper. But from the media reports you'd think he was a cross between warren Sapp and Superman. Sorry-missed the greatness of Jason Ferguson-a nice but unspectacular and now overpaid DT. In fairness, it's true; many of us poormouth guys who leave, like we did with Coles. Still if you made note that McKenzie was a good tackle or that Jordan will be a great signing, no problem. All true. But a great coach with the media eating out his hand signs Ferguson at a ridiculous price, spouts nonsense about his talent and they broadcast it as Bible fact. I'm beginning to think some of these media guys get a free lunch, have the HC talk to them like a bum on a barstool and voila, every signing and move is a Midas touch. And that they don't watch the games at all. Which in many ways is why the the media has started questioning Bellichick about Brady's health. He doesn't play the game or give an eff about the press. http://jetnation.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6967 Two miserable humans. Two great coaches. One that plays the press's game, one doesn't . And that coverage they get reflects how they treat these guys. Butter'em up-Jason Ferguson is A GOD. Tell'em nothing-WHAT ARE THEY HIDING ABOUT TOM BRADY?
