This. It was the same with jon Stewart on the Daily Show. At first his shtick was funny/enlightening then it became preachy and "i'm smarter than everyone." I was ecstatic to see him get fired from ESPN radio. I don't read the Daily News much and when I do I NEVER read Lupica's articles. Hopefully he lands a good gig in Nebraska.

That's perfect because fanduel doesn't let you change lineups after the 1st game locks. Locking in lineups on a thursday is no bueno.

Look at how the offense played with Petty in the lineup last night? While Geno may not be the answer, he is MUCH better than Petty at this point. I'm hoping Fitz is the starter week 1, but it's also good to know that if FItz gets hurt we aren't forced to start a rookie that will make Geno look like Drew Brees.

Clark admitted to knowing/being friends with IK. Ik is clearly the kind of guy that is more concerned about his appearances/RESPECT than anything else and is therefore sending Clark out to make sure his boys in the hood don't think he did something cowardly. IK still doesn't get it and never will. Whether he latches on with another team, or not, we are dealing with the bottom rung of society. NOTE: I am NOT defending Geno. Geno is a moron that deserves to bag groceries the rest of his life for being involved in this nonsense, but that is still no excuse for IK being a thug.

True, but I am more worried about chemistry. Sure Fitz is smart but that doesn't mean guys like Marshall won't need time to learn each other's tendencies.

Which is also a problem. Fitz will not be asked to do much in preseason out of fear of exposing him to an injury. Jets fans that don't realize how bad this injury is for the Jets are just clueless. Maybe Fitz stays healthy and maybe he gets enough Reps to start the season right, but we are on very thin ice now.

Exactly. Even if you hate Geno, its stupid to think this is a good thing because now we are down to 1 serviceable QB on our roster.

Exactly. But let's be honest the Jets fan base is a microcosm of society and therefore it is to be expected. Losing Geno is a huge blow to this team, even if he was going to be the backup. IK is a loser and I hope he is bagging groceries in October.
