Jetsfan80
http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/Ty-Warren-Denver-Broncos-done-for-season-triceps-surgery-report-081811 Report: Warren to undergo surgery DENVER Denver Broncos defensive tackle Ty Warren will likely be lost for the season after he undergoes surgery on his torn right triceps muscle, the Denver Post reported Thursday. Warren, who signed as a free agent after eight seasons with the New England Patriots, suffered a partial tear of his triceps during drills Monday and will undergo surgery next Tuesday. The team had hoped he would not need surgery, which will keep him out three to six months. According to the report, the team hopes Warren would only need three months to recover since the muscle is only partially torn. For now the team will hold a roster spot open for Warren, but could be forced to place him on season-ending injured reserve at some point. Warren signed a two-year, $10 million deal with Denver, with $2.5 million in guaranteed money, after missing all of last season with a hip injury. The Broncos suffered an additional blow Monday when fellow starting defensive tackle Marcus Thomas suffered a slight tear of his pectoral muscle. He is expected to miss at least the rest of the preseason.

Jared
Muscle tears can be pretty massively horrible injuries, depending on how bad they are.
