Steveg
Geez...he must be adding a lot of value.. Offensive consultant Tom Moore visits Jets practice By Jenny Vrentas/The Star-Ledger Jets offensive consultant Tom Moore was out on the practice field today as the Jets prepare to face the Redskins. Moore, the former Colts offensive coordinator brought on board in the offseason, has spent most of the season working remotely from his home in South Carolina. But according to a team spokesman, he had scheduled a handful of visits with the team through the season -- and this is one of those pre-arranged visits. Moore last joined the team for the Chargers game, leading into the week of self-scouting during the team's bye week. RB LaDainian Tomlinson (knee) and WR Jeremy Kerley (knee) were practicing for the second straight day, indicating neither suffered a setback after returning to practice yesterday. DL Mike DeVito (knee) is sitting out again and is not expected to play against Washington.
Bleedin Green
This was reported as the plan back during training camp. He was there for the entirety of camp, but once the season started, he's been working from home breaking down the Jets game tape each week and then reporting back to the team. He's had a couple of practices he's come up for and one game, but that's about it. Remember, he's really a consultant for this team, not a coach. Clearly the guy just isn't up for the full time workload anymore, but if the Jets think what he's doing provides value than so be it.
SenorGato
Sounds like someone is making the push to become Manning's OC here.
