I get that some owners are better than others and hire the right people to run the organization but at the end of the day, how does an owner hold a team back? Knock Woody all you want, the Jets have largely been a successful organization under Woody. I know Jets fans are a super proud bunch who only accept Super Bowl's but the Jets havent had too many losing seasons under Woody, what, 3 total? And I really can only remember 2 seasons since Woody's been the owner that Jets havent been in playoff contention come Thanksgiving. The reality is, since Woody has taken over, only 5 different teams have represented the AFC in the Super Bowl (Patriots, Colts, Raiders, Steelers and Ravens).
