jack48
If Geno starts the first couple weeks and they win a game may as well give him the season.. if it's a disaster, which I don't necessarily think will happen, give it back to Mark when he's ready. When has Mark ever shown he was ready? This is what kills me. Mark not starting is no nightmare for us. Mark starting is a nightmare for us. Give me the rookie potential nightmare over the veteran definite nightmare.
joewilly12
Cant wait to see what another QB can do with this team. I think Geno starts and keeps the job and actually has an impressive rookie campaign.
flgreen
If Geno starts the season, it's hard to imagine Sanchez getting back into the lineup unless Geno gets hurt. And depending on the timing of that hypothetical injury, it could be Simms rather than Sanchez who gets in there. In general I agree. The exception, or spin, would be if the Jets claim Sanchez is injured the first week, and Smith gets mauled by both Tampa, and the Pats, they could proclaim Sanchez healed for the Bills game, and bring him back while saying he had really won the competition, but was injured, and Smith needed some more seasoning. JiFtheOracle
Hopefully "multiple weeks" means 17. Boom! Matt Simms FTW
