Yes it is...and it's considerably better than what we've been subjected to as Jets fans over much of the last decade. Better is better...I'll take it. nyjunc
Right. I hope Fitz puts it together this year but there is a reason he has never been able to start more than 6 wins in any season.

Check out the Bills D when he was there the D was terrible when he was a starter.. Even last year with the Texans going 9-7 they gave up 30+ points in some of their loses when Fitz played.. Even last year with the Texans going 9-7 they gave up 30+ points in some of their loses when Fitz played.. he was part of the reason his Ds struggled. last year he was 6-6 as starter, his backups were 3-1 including only win over playoff bound team for Houston all season. the games they gave up 30+ pts and lost: at NYG 30-17 loss: led O to garbage time TD, was 30-10. threw 3 INTs including one that set up NYg at Hou 2 and one set them up at hou 29 leading to 10 pts. vs. Ind 33-28 loss, D scored TD to make it 33-28 and a game. had three 3 and outs to start game and fall behind 24-0 before he took over in garbage time. at Pit 30-23 loss: after going up 13-0 ended 1st half w/ 3 and out, fumble that set up Pitt at Hou 3, INt that set Pit up at hou 8. the 2 TOs led to 14 pts but trailing 30-16 late he threw a TD for window dressing! Jet Nut
Looking at the talent the Jets have on defense, they should be a lock for at least eight wins. - Browns - Skins - Raiders - Jags - Texans - Titans - Buffalo x2 So, just one or two upsets and this team should be in the playoffs. Beating the fins at home, actually 2 home games, shouldn't be a upset at this point.
