LionelRichie Posted December 7, 2015 Share Posted December 7, 2015 I don't know if it's the no-huddle or the shotgun / spread, but whatever it is the offense looks completely different. I'm not sure if it's philosophical, a formation/tendency issue, or the OL just can't run-block but this offense looks so much better just throwing the ball out of the spread. My guess is that they didn't run it because with two cornerbacks out they were afraid of what would happen when Eli gets hot. So they tried to slow the game down to try to prevent that.
