it doesn't put him at the bottom of the list, how could anyone have Eli Manning and his 25 INts ahead of him?  playing in a weaker division w/ SB talent around him.  In the biggest game of the year at GB he throws FOUR INts and they miss the playoffs but advanced metrics tell us his 25 INts were better.  Please.  we can go on and on.There were not 10 better QBs in 2010.

Eli had over 60 more attempts, 800 more yards, 45 yards per game more, 14 more TDs, over 8% better completion percentage, over 1 yard per attempt greater, was sacked 11 times less, and when adjusted for Tipped INTs and hail mary's, only 7 more INTs.  That doesn't include dropped INTs, at which point Sanchez threw more interceptable passes than Eli, as Eli only threw 2 passes that should have been intercepted but were dropped and Sanchez threw 13.

Next, Eli's team scored under 17 points only twice that season, and never under 10.  Mark Sanchez's team scored under 10 points 4 times that season.

Now, for your kind of context... Eli only threw one INT before the team was down 31-17 in that game.  And the second came with under 10 minutes left in the 4th Quarter, when he was down two touchdowns.  So, obviously he had to force some things.  This, mind you, was not against some pushover team.  This was against the eventual Super Bowl Champs that year, a team that held Mark Sanchez to 0 points, 2 interceptions, and under 50% completion.  Which actually begs the question, is it really much worse to throw 2 INTs in a game at home where you score 0 and your defense holds them to under 10, or throw 4, on the road when your team gives up 31?

Enough context for you?

I don't like the hypothetical game, but in all likelihood, Eli on the Jets and we're up against Green Bay in the Super Bowl...

awesome and he threw 25 INTs and kept his team out of the playoffs.

adjusted for tipped INTs:lol: he bears no responsibiluty for tipped INts, they were all perfect throws, right?

His 1 INT before being down 31-17(14 pts) was when the Giants were trailing 7-0 and it led to GB scoring a TD for a 14 pt deficit- just like 31-17, right?

INT #2 came down 14 but there were 10 mins left in the game, hardly time to panic.

GB was different team later in the year, they also lost to the Miami Dolphins at HOME so your comparison is terrible.

Mark on NYG 2007/2011 they win both SBs, Eli on NYJ 2009/2010 we lose in both title games.

Impressively feeble effort.  No further response merited.
