Example: The New England Patriots forfeited draft picks as a result of their choice to engage in systematic rule violations that cheapen the sport and can only be defended by the blindest of fans. Although in this case it might be amusing to use more related language. Example: The New England Patriots deflated the number of draft picks received as a result of their choice to engage in systematic rule violations that cheapen the sport and can only be defended by the blindest of fans.
