Get a veteran QB in here and draft a QB somewhere in the draft and we'll have less to worry about.

Please, no veteran unless they are a last resort backup. It just delays seeing the young QBs - Hack, Petty or a draft choice. A veteran should only be brought in to teach the young guys and never see the field unless there are a couple injuries. We need to give Hack and Petty more of a chance this year and see what happens. If they don't do well then we draft a QB next year when the crop of QBs is better. If you like Watson, grab him and add him to the mix. If we keep with this stop gap crap at QB we'll never have continued success. Take a look at Hack's film that was posted in this thread. He has the smarts and talent - coach him the hell up and give him a chance.

The poster you responded too has the right idea. The Jets need to add 2 more QBs t the roster, 1 via the draft and the other being a vet free agent  . Every starting QB needs a game day sounding board when he comes off the field and even more so if the starting QB is a young  buck developing on the fly .  There should be a Veteran QB in every QB room .
