Hael Posted March 1, 2017 Share Posted March 1, 2017 Almost everything coming out of NE this year is going to be overpriced relative to their worth. Logan Ryan is going to be an ~7-8m a year corner minimum, which is near CB1 money. He's really an ok 2, or an upper echelon slot cb in value. Harmon is interesting, but he was their 3rd string safety... He ballhawks pretty well, and made a lot of clutch ints for them, but he is far from a probowl player like eg McCourty is. In other words, they're situational talents, great for certain types of looks and would work well in systems that are designed to use them as such. However they are not franchise players either, and they're going to get payed as such. Free agency is usually all about finding diamonds in the rough, and these guys are completely overhyped.
