The Troll
NFL | Hopkins leaning towards retirement Wed, 29 Mar 2006 13:29:14 -0800 Brad Willis, of the Titans Radio Network, reports free agent OT Brad Hopkins (Titans) is leaning towards retirement. "My gut would tell me no (I won't play in 2006)," said Hopkins, who was released by the Tennessee Titans in early March. "I haven't announced it officially, but I'm really leaning towards sticking around here for my family, I've developed relationships with business people around here that I feel like I've can be productive in. Nashville's my home." Hopkins said he visited with the New York Jets, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Atlanta Falcons, but none of the teams elected to move quickly to sign him. Cmart28Coles87
He would of been a good signing for us. This draft is really deep in O linmen so we can draft a RT with our 29 pick and hope Mangold is still there when we pick again at 35.
ThunderbirdJet
He's like Runyan.... he's home, and doesn't really want to leave. Smart guy who probably doesn't need the cash... he's probably set.
CluJet
So would this mean Mangold or a CB/OLB at 29, and an OT like Jonathan Scott or Whitworth at 35?
