JetNation
The folks at uStadium are reporting that the Jets are expected to sign undrafted 6′ 4” 304 lb free agent defensive tackle Leonard Taylor out of Miami. Per @uSTADIUM, the @nyjets are expected to sign Miami DT Leonard Taylor III. Viewed by some as a mid-round pick, Taylor shows great strength that enables him to disengage and make plays inside. pic.twitter.com/1q7WnuaiOz — Glenn Naughton (@JNRadio_Glenn) April 28, 2024 Expect Taylor to have a very good shot to make the Jets roster as an interior defensive lineman who some projected as a mid-round pick. A strong interior defender, Taylor saw his production dip in 2024 but this could have been due to spending more time at the nose rather than lining up as 3 tech where he was better suited. LAD_Brooklyn
What's wrong with him? Should have definitely had his name called anywhere from round 4-7. Most likely has character, injury concern or was just over hyped during the draft process.
