#90
Smith out as Isles GM BY ALAN HAHN Newsday Staff Writer July 18, 2006, 3:32 PM EDT Former Islanders goaltender Garth Snow has retired and will replace Neil Smith as the teams's new general manager, the Islanders said in a statement today. "I spoke with Garth at length throughout the spring about the general manager's position and he really impressed me with his passion and his knowledge," said Islanders owner Charles Wang in the release. "When the job opened up, the choice was an easy one. Garth knows the league as well as anyone, has an eye for talent and understands how our staff works as a team. Most importantly, Garth is a man of integrity, someone I trust will work hard, be creative and represent the Islanders with dignity."
shawn306
Sounds like Islander fans love Milbury the way Knicks fans love Dolan. Snow sounds like he could be Milbury's butt boy. Too bad

Bugg
If this Isles GM job doesn't work out, he at least has a future working at Scores, Hooters or fluffing.Drafts? Trades? Contracts? Hello-the Isles have a GM who can get blondes to make out. Isiah Thomas cannot do that without getting sued.
