Or at least part of it, a still nameless and unfinished product. Eric Mangini said that for yesterday's simulated game, he told his staff to use only the plays that have been fully installed in the repertoire. The result was a lot of short passes to running backs and tight ends and a unit that used ball control to steadily grind down the field. "I wouldn't say it was the essence of the offense," Mangini said with a sly smile. "I'd say this is another part of training camp and there certainly are things that aren't in yet that would have helped in a regular game."
