faba
Doctor: Paterno must coach from press box Saturday Associated Press STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- Injured Penn State coach Joe Paterno cannot coach from the sideline Saturday against Temple, but may still run the team from the press box, a team doctor said Wednesday. College Football PodcastDr. Wayne Sebastinaelli said the 79-year-old Paterno remained hospitalized and the coach would not return to practice this week. Doctors operated Sunday on Paterno to repair a fractured shinbone and two torn knee ligaments in the left leg. The 41-year head coaching veteran was walloped along the sideline on Saturday by two players in the second half of Penn State's loss to Wisconsin. "It is in his best interest not to be on the field really for the rest of the season," Sebastianelli said, but added that his stubborn patient was eager to get back with his team. "If we can do it in a box, I'll keep my mind open," Sebastianelli said

Alk
How in the hell do you coach from the press box? It's one thing to call in plays but a coach is supposed to be on the field to motivate the players.
