SoFlaJets
am I just over tired or is he contradicting himself here? Dolphins | Culpepper says he may not play again this season Fri, 17 Nov 2006 09:43:49 -0800 Harvey Fialkov, of the Sun-Sentinel, reports Miami Dolphins QB Daunte Culpepper (knee) says his surgically repaired right knee is not recovering as smoothly as hoped and understands that he may not play again this season. "Right now, I'm at a point in my patella, I get a sharp pain when I'm trying to push off," Culpepper said. "The strength is coming back better. I think the little sharp pain ... if I can get past that point, I think I could be very explosive. But I also want to get to 100 percent so I can be effective and be a dominating player." "Of course I want to [play], but I'm going to be very smart about it," Culpepper added. "I'd be disappointed, but at the same time I've got to keep my eye on the big picture. It's really not about short term; it's about long term."

Thanks. People should've gotten the hint when Minnesota was shopping him around behind his back, then got rid of him.
