Ranger fans especially know this after last seasons collapse. I think Jagr's shoulder injury will be a major problem for them in the 2nd half. There isn't any point to having Brendan Shanahan if he's not going to stand in front of the net on the power play looking for rebounds and tipins off point shots. Instead, the Rangers hold a "Prettiest Pass" competition every power play. Jagr's a great player, but there comes a point that he ahs to understand that there's more than one way to do things, and that if teams see how the PP is run through him on the right side it's easily defensed. And worse, the Rangers don't even have a real PP QB type defenseman, just 8 interchangeable guys who are all pretty much the same player on the blueline.
