Maxman Posted November 2, 2007 Share Posted November 2, 2007 I remember the Daily News commercial he did when the reporter started by saying "If you spell Mark Salas' name backwards it's still Salas, Mike Pagliarulo on the other hand is olurailgap" No idea why that stuck with me all these years but apparently it did. Pags homered twice at my first Yankee game and he's a reason why I played 3B from little league through high school. I thought they put you at 3B because you didn't have the range for short? The Cards had essentially agreed to send McGee back to the Yanks after one season but when they saw how good he was they decided to keep him and gave the Yankees Bobby Meachem as compensation.
