Green DNA
My friend (seriously ) has this trojan on his laptop and can't seem to get rid of it. His McAfee on-access scan identifies the trojan but cannot quarantine or delete the file. He is running Windows XP. Does anyone have a solution? Yeah, tell him to dump McAfee. install the free version of Grisoft's AVG antivirus software and watch it take up half the resources and destroy twice the viruses. BP
If he doesn't subscribe to Mcafee (pay) he doesn't get automatic updates. is he subscribed so he gets his AV software updated automatically? that might be the problem.

I'm not sure, I'll ask him, but if the free stuff works better maybe that is the way to go.
