Irish Jet Posted February 24, 2008 Share Posted February 24, 2008 Me? What are talking about? I in favor of this deal, I was just replying to somebody saying he could get as fat as he wants to here. Plenty of guys have eaten themselves out of the league. I didn't say he'd have to slim down. In my opinion the biggest problem with a potential deal for Rogers is that he may not be happy going from the 4-3 to the 3-4 nose where he won't have any happy time stats. Something tells me that he is not going to take Tangini's word for it that if he sacrifices his sacks and tackles and takes on the double teams that they will take care of him. He gets paid plenty so it might not be an issue, but I'm sure he'd rather go to the Raiders or Broncos. That really worries me too, he will take a lot more punishment in the 3-4 as well.
