Jets on NFL Network

nfl n/w did a segment on the jets last night discussing the off-season thus far, the draft, and the qb controversy. a couple of items of note:

rod woodson was real high on the jets moves this off-season, says the jets have 1 of the best OL's in the NFL right now.

woodson says jets need to upgrade the secondary - CB, S

QB - prevailing opinion is that jets would be foolish to start pennington. they need to see what clemens can do with a decent OL and pennington was compared to "yeast that stopped rising".

LB - to play 3-4 you need lots of lb's. jets need to find more good ones.

draft projection - vernon gholston.

That's a pretty perfect assessment IMO.

With the addition of Faneca, the Left side of the O-Line should be top 5.

Ferguson has the potential to be a franchise LT

Faneca is a 7 Time Pro Bowler with a good 3-4 years left as our starting LG

Mangol is a beast of a Center and a future all pro player for years to come.

Now our right side is a ? Mark in my eyes.
