drago Posted April 24, 2008 Share Posted April 24, 2008 Gabe Kapler is hitting in the 340's and platooning centerfield with Gwyn Jr. Both are hitting very well but Cameron was brought in to anchor down centerfield and is probably a far better defender than both. It is clear you cannot bench Kapler. You don't sit a guy that has one 4 or 5 games for a club that is struggling to hit. What do you do? Braun is struggling at the plate but is doing well in left and there is just no way Cameron is going to ride pine. For those of you that follow the Brewers a bit, what are your thoughts? GimmeShelter Posted April 24, 2008 Share Posted April 24, 2008 Cameron will play every day and flourish in Milwaukee IMO. 3 hits for Braun and Hall today so hopefully they are sanpping out of their funks. It's hard giving up youth like gwyn but what other choice do we have? I hope cameron lives up to his billing, should be really fun watching them play this year.
