Smizzy Posted August 2, 2005 Share Posted August 2, 2005 Ravens | Cody could be done for the Year Mon, 1 Aug 2005 20:15:55 -0700 Updating previous reports, the Baltimore Sun's Jamison Hensley reports Baltimore Ravens DL/LB Dan Cody (knee) sprained the ACL in his right knee midway through his first practice Monday, August 1, officially sidelining the second-round pick indefinitely. Privately the Ravens have resigned themselves to the fact he could be lost for the season. He was projected to play rush end in passing situations, the same role reserved for LB Peter Boulware. "I always tell guys that football is one of those deals where good teams know how to play right to the line but they don't cross it," head coach Herman Edwards said.
