Seems the Yankees have Peavy on the radar and I would rather see them target Cain. Would SF move Cain and would the same package for Peavy get Cain? Lastly, if you could choose one guy to be a mainstay in your rotation which would you prefer? No. Cain while a promising arm is not in the same stratosphere as Peavy. He may get there someday but price tags to trade for him would certainly be different at this time. Cain is not even the mainstay in SF rotation so Peavy also gets the easy nod to that question.
