Greer had drawn interest from multiple teams since free agency began last Friday, visiting with the Detroit Lions over the weekend and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Monday in Tampa. A five-year veteran out of the University of Tennessee, Greer has spent his entire career with the Buffalo Bills.
