Warfish
Breaking now. Link: https://nypost.com/2024/04/11/us-news/oj-simpson-dead-at-76/ O.J. Simpson — who became one of the most infamous figures in the US during his murder trial in the ’90s — has died after a cancer battle. The former NFL star died Wednesday in Las Vegas, his family confirmed. “On April 10th, our father, Orenthal James Simpson, succumbed to his battle with cancer,” the family wrote on X on Thursday. “He was surrounded by his children and grandchildren. During this time of transition, his family asks that you please respect their wishes for privacy and grace,” the brief statement added.

So stupid and one of the worst courtroom bunglings ever. Sad thing is if the murders had occurred a few years later when the public understanding of DNA was finally coming of age then OJ’s defense would really have had no leg to stand on from the jump.

The fact he literally made money off his own murders with this book was sickening. Granted, I think he had to turn around and use that money to help pay off his civil case dues….but still.
