LionelRichie
i know he starts slow but .198 come on. what the f is this guy doing to hit so poorly? pitchers can hit .198 and for a lot less money. i know he's young and has been a great player for the majority of his career but what is he problem right now? is he trying to hard or is the NY stage too much for him? JohnnyHector
The guy is a notoriously slow starter. His career line is in April is .249/.349/.433, while he's .287/.377/.538 overall. It's just magnified this year, because he just signed a huge contract and A-Rod has been out. Step away from the ledge... he'll come around. Matt39
People act that its "ok" to be a slow starter.I'll give you 180 million reasons why it isnt ok. Like, hey Mark- you think you could not be a slow starter this year? The Yankees havent had a good start in how long? And they gives this guy that kind of money? Awful. The Yankees needed to get off to a fast start this season. Games are just as important in April as they are in September. And we have our #3 batter struggling to hit .200. Just F'ing wonderful.
