'Paris' is a French Indie film that is the basic character study and succeeds at it. The plot is a man finds out he is gravely ill in need of a heart transplant. This brings his loving divorced sister , Juliette Binoche, to console and move in with him to care for him in his wait for a heart or worst case, his last days. She brings her 3 children also.

The man, spends his days looking out the window and seeing several neighbors come and go and he uses this as his 'relief' as entertainment. The film then follows these neigbors as they move from his window's view point and let us in to what happens as the disappear out of the sick mans view. We get pulled into these character vignettes as they intertwine with each other and have impacts to all.

Its a film that is mellow in its pace while exploring death, divorce, new romance and the need to 'let go of past'.

Binoche is brilliant, its a very French flick and the backdrop of Paris heightens the films impact.
